Europe starts four hours earlier. Taiwan and Korea begin on October 22 locally. The updated forum post takes priority over older October 19 news.

Two scheduled start instants

Europe opens at October 21, 19:00 CEST, which is October 21 at 17:00 UTC. Americas and Oceania open at October 21, 14:00 PDT, which is 21:00 UTC. Taiwan’s October 22 at 05:00 and Korea’s October 22 at 06:00 refer to that same 21:00 UTC instant.

A player travelling in Asia but using a European game region should choose Europe, then their current display timezone. Language, physical location and the game region are separate choices.

How the converter works

The tool stores Blizzard’s announced regional starts as UTC instants and formats the selected instant with your browser’s IANA timezone rules. The remaining duration is max(start time minus your device clock, zero). It does not estimate server availability.

The page begins with a static official-time table, so the schedule remains readable without JavaScript. JavaScript adds your local date, a live countdown, copying and a calendar reminder. Your timezone choices stay in the page and are not uploaded.

Dates, daylight saving and calendar reminders

Taiwan and Korea cross into October 22 for this event. Do not strip the date from a shared time. Abbreviations such as CST are ambiguous; prefer an IANA location and the displayed UTC offset.

The calendar download contains a start reminder only. No official end time has been supplied, so we do not invent one. If Blizzard changes the schedule, remove the old reminder and download a new one. Check the source again before you travel, take time off or arrange a group.

If your local time looks wrong

Check the game region first, then the chosen timezone and your device clock. A VPN or translated page does not determine your game region. Set the display timezone manually if automatic detection is unavailable.

For the reason some older results still show October 19, see the date-change guide. For installation rather than timing, follow the dedicated participation guide.
