1. Check the regional start, not just the date
Europe opens October 21 at 17:00 UTC; the other listed regions open at 21:00 UTC. Taiwan and Korea are already on October 22 locally. A player on the wrong regional timer can appear to be four hours early.
Use the time tool with your actual game region. After the scheduled time has passed, consult official service notices; the timer does not prove that a realm is online.
2. If the test version is missing
Update and restart Battle.net. Select World of Warcraft, open the Game Version menu above Play, and look under In Development for World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test.
Do not treat missing beta access as a reason to buy a pack: Blizzard says this test does not require beta access or an invitation. If the expected entry is still absent, check the official announcement and contact support with the exact client state.
3. If installation is paused or fails
Read the displayed error, check available disk space and the selected install location, and confirm your connection and app updates. Use the size shown by the current client rather than a fixed number from another guide.
Get the app only from Blizzard’s desktop download page. Do not run unofficial “unlock” or “repair” tools, or share your login with someone offering test access.
4. If the game will not launch
Update graphics drivers as Blizzard requests, then compare your system with the official requirements. The GPU architecture compatibility article is useful, but supported architecture does not guarantee every other minimum requirement or a specific frame rate.
Use any exact error code to choose a Blizzard Support article. Avoid deleting unrelated live-game folders or account data as an unsourced first step.
5. If login or realm entry fails
Check for current service notices and distinguish a queue from an authentication error. Stress tests can expose problems; repeated reinstallations are not evidence-based repairs for a server-side disruption.
The stress-test beta shutdown and subsequent reopen are announced behavior, but their precise operational timing is not established here. Record which build and region you selected when seeking support.
